Preliminary remarks

In the following, we explain to you to what extent, for what purpose and when we collect, process and use personal data. We will also explain how the services we offer work and how we ensure the protection of your personal data.
We collect, process and use personal data exclusively within the framework of the currently applicable legal provisions.

a) When visiting our website (hereinafter and in the following referred to as "website")

When you call up our website www.schulwitz.de, information is automatically sent to the server of our website by the browser used on your end device. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

  • IP address of the requesting computer
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the accessed file,
  • website from which the access is made (referrer URL),
  • browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer, as well as the name of your access provider

The aforementioned data is processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website
  • Ensuring a comfortable use of our website
  • evaluation of system security and stability as well as
  • for other administrative purposes.

 

The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person. In addition, we use cookies and analysis services when you visit our website. You can find more detailed explanations of this under points 4 and 5 of this data protection declaration.

b) When contacting us (e.g. via our contact form or by e-mail)

In the event of contacting our company, personal data will be collected. In the case of using the contact form provided on our website, the type and scope of the data collected is evident from the contact form itself; in the case of contacting us by other means (e.g. by e-mail), you yourself have decided in the message sent to us the type and scope of data you wish to transmit to us. The data will be used exclusively for the purpose of processing your request and the associated necessary technical administration.   • the disclosure is necessary in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding
  • interest worthy of protection in the non-disclosure of your data,
  • in the event that there is a legal obligation for disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. c DSGVO, as well as
  • this is legally permissible and necessary according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the processing of contractual relationships with you.

4. hosting provider - UnitedDomains

We host our website with our order processor United Domains, united-domains AG, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany. For the purpose of providing and delivering the website, connection data is processed.For the mere purpose of delivery and provision of the website, the data is not stored beyond the call.

The legal basis for the data processing is the legitimate interest (unconditional technical necessity for the provision and delivery of the service "website" expressly requested by them through your call) pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

For the operation of the website, the connection data and other personal data are additionally processed within the scope of various other functions or services. This is informed about in detail in the context of this privacy policy for the individual functions or services.

5. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your end device {PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware. In the cookie, information is stored that arises in each case in connection with the specific end device used. This does not mean, however, that we gain direct knowledge of your identity. The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. Thus, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site. In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness, which are stored on your terminal device for a certain fixed period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it is automatically recognized that you have already been to our site and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again. On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you (see section 5). These cookies enable us to automatically recognize that you have already been to our site when you visit it again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time. The data processed by cookies is necessary for the aforementioned purposes to protect our legitimate interests as well as those of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Most browsers accept cookies automatically.However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a notice always appears before a new cookie is created. However, the complete deactivation of cookies may result in you not being able to fully use all the functions of our website.

6. analysis tools

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the ongoing optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision. The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.

Google Analytics
For the purpose of demand-oriented design and ongoing optimization of our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; hereinafter "Google"). In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies (see under point 4) are used.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as

  • Browser type/version,
  • operating system used,
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
  • host name of the accessing computer {IP address),
  • time of the server request,

are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to monitor the use of the website. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to the use of the website and the Internet for the purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of these Internet pages. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking). You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

We have concluded an order data processing agreement with Google and implement the requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

7. Web fonts

Google Fonts

We process connection data and browser data with our processor Google Fonts, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland for the purpose of providing the fonts required by the web browser to display the website. This data is only processed for the time required to select and transmit the fonts.
The legal basis for data processing is the legitimate interest (absolute technical necessity for the provision and delivery of the “website” service you expressly requested when you accessed it) in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
To the extent that Google Fonts carries out further independent processing of the data, Google is solely responsible for this. Details can be found in the Google Fonts privacy policy and FAQ.
 

Font Awesome

We process connection data and browser data with our processor Fontawesome, Fonticons, Inc., 6 Porter Road, Apartment 3R, Cambridge, MA 02140, USA, for the purpose of providing the fonts required by the web browser to display the website. This data is only processed for the time required to select and transmit the fonts.
The legal basis for data processing is the legitimate interest (absolute technical necessity for the provision and delivery of the “website” service you expressly requested when you accessed it) in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
If Fontawesome carries out further independent processing of the data, Fontawesome is the sole controller. Details can be found in Fontawesome's privacy policy.

8. Social media presence/social media

Our company is present on various social networks. As part of a visit there, personal data may be transmitted to the provider of the respective social network. In addition to the data you entered, other personal data may be collected, processed or used by the respective social network.
In addition, certain data from your computer system is collected, processed and used by the social network in accordance with the information mentioned in section 2. If you are logged in under your user data while visiting such a social network, this visit can be assigned. If you do not wish this, you must log out of your user account before visiting our presence there.

9. Security services

On this website we use security service providers such as captcha services to avoid non-human and automated input.

Google reCAPTCHA

If you give your consent, we will process your personal data as joint controllers using the Google reCaptcha service, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, for the purpose of avoiding non-human and automated input. We enable the service to set cookies, collect connection data and data from your web browser. We also enable the service to calculate a user ID to uniquely identify the user within the advertising network operated by Google. Data is stored on your device for up to two years.
The legal basis for data processing is your consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a GDPR. Failure to grant consent means that the use of reCaptcha and associated forms is not possible.
You can revoke any consent that has already been given by changing the data protection settings.
The Google Group transfers your personal data to the USA. The legal basis for data transfer to the USA is your consent in accordance with Article 49 Paragraph 1 Letter a in conjunction with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a GDPR. Before you gave your consent, you were already informed that the USA does not have a level of data protection that meets EU standards. In particular, US secret services can access your data without you being informed and without you being able to take legal action against it. For this reason, the European Court of Justice declared the previous adequacy decision (Privacy Shield) invalid in a ruling.

10. Contact form

On our website you have the option of contacting us directly using a contact form. After sending the contact form, the personal data you have entered will be processed by the person responsible for the purpose of processing your request on the basis of the consent you gave by sending the form in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a GDPR until revoked.
There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide personal data. Failure to provide it will simply mean that you will not be able to submit your request and we will not be able to process it.

11. Data storage period

Our company adheres to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. For this reason, we only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated herein or as required by law. Once the respective purpose no longer applies or these deadlines have expired, the relevant data will be deleted routinely and in accordance with legal regulations.

12. Rights of those affected

You have the right:
• in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can obtain information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection a right to complain, the origin of your data, if it was not collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if necessary, meaningful information about its details;
• in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to immediately request the correction of incorrect or complete personal data stored by us;
• in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is carried out to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims is necessary;
• in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if you dispute the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful but you refuse its deletion and we no longer need the data but you use it to assert need to exercise or defend legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
• in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request its transmission to another person responsible;
• in accordance with Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR, to revoke your consent to us at any time. This means that we are no longer allowed to continue the data processing based on this consent in the future
• to complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or work or at our company headquarters.
13. Right to object
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f of the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR, provided there are reasons for doing so. which arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without specifying a special situation. 14. Data Security

When visiting our website, we use the common SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. This is usually 256 bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we will use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the status bar of your browser. We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
